USA president Joe Biden confirmed today that the Al Qaeda leader Ayman Al Wazir was yesterday 1 Aug 22 killed by an American drone in Afgahnistan.
Al wazir was the deputy leader of Osama Bin Laden and was rrsponsible for planning of terror attack in Kenya on Aug 7 1998 leading to the death of 257 in Nairobi.
Ayman was an Egyptian medical doctor and the son of a diplomat.
His death brings some sense of closure somewhat to our country Kenya.
